Your Fast Track to Success
If you are a full-time Stetson MBA student with an undergraduate degree in a business field you can complete the program in as little as one calendar year. Without prior academic work in business, you should be able to complete the degree program in approximately two calendar years.
The course of study is divided into two broad areas: the business foundation and the advanced level courses. Foundation coursework is needed if your undergraduate degree is not in business. The Office of Graduate Business Programs will advise you about any foundation requirements upon receipt of official transcripts. The advanced coursework is offered during convenient evening hours to encourage you to hold a full-time job while completing the full range of course requirements.
Eligibility Requirements
If you graduated from a regionally or internationally accredited university with a baccalaureate degree, then you are eligible to apply for admission into Stetson's MBA program. The undergraduate degree need not be in business administration. The course of study is specifically designed to accommodate the non-business as well as the business degree holder. Indeed, combining the MBA with a non-business undergraduate degree is considered outstanding career preparation in many fields.
An M.B.A. Graduate Speaks…
"The MBA program at Stetson University gave me the opportunity of expanding my knowledge by not only learning about the concepts and theory in different areas, but by actually allowing me to apply these to real world cases. Furthermore, every professor’s enthusiasm to teach and willingness to be involved created an even more encouraging learning environment. My experience in the program was fantastic and its benefits to my career continue to be apparent every day."
- Emilie Arends, MBA ‘07
